Bird's Eye View

I've travelled many cities, it's always the same.
People have good intentions, but do no good.
Money rules everything.
Power is the only goal.

For money people will pollute the air,
Fill it with chemicals, let the water tum to acid.
Animals are dying,
Yet the chimneys still smoke.

Discarded chip-papers litter the parks,
Along the roadsides rubbish lines the streets,
Cigarette ends lie on the paths;
The thoughtlessness goes on.

People do so much harm; who will put it right?
What will it take before they realise what they're doing?
The people who're destroying our world must be very stupid
If we pigeons can see the problems.
